Rebirth of Midwifery

With the rise of natural births more and more moms are choosing to have midwives assist in the delivery room. Meet author Ina May Gaskin, credited with the rebirth of midwifery in the United States, Dr. Robbie Davis-Floyd, Medical Anthropologist and author of “Birth as an American Rite of Passage” and Jan Tritten, editor and founder of Midwifery Today magazine.

Fertile Hope

At 23 Lindsay Nohr-Beck was diagnosed with cancer. The diagnosis was devastating, but not nearly as crushing as the possibility that her cancer treatments might render her infertile. With strength and determination Lindsay set out to create the future she wanted, not the one being dictated to her by her doctor or her illness. As more women are faced with fertility issues this is a story of hope from which every women can learn.
